About Nonprofit Engine

Who's behind Nonprofit Engine

Nonprofit Engine grew out of an observation: nonprofits often can't attract the top technical talent they need to multiply their impact.

Nonprofit Engine is a philanthropic program funded by Kevin Ryan, founder of AlleyCorp. It gives US nonprofits a senior AI engineering team, valued at $250K, to build mission-critical technology.

Toboggan Labs, an AI engineering firm, has delivered the engineering for every Nonprofit Engine project since 2023.
